What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy recognises the lasting impact of trauma. This is when stressful events that you experience or witness make you feel unsafe, helpless or vulnerable. Our approach helps you unravel your thinking, helps see beyond the issue and gives hope whilst guiding you towards a better, healthier future.

Trauma is a huge umbrella of possibilities, in how a person can be traumatised as well as how trauma can affect a person.

I work in an integrative way with a range of modalities to allow for flexible therapy to meet the client’s need. Some of my approaches include:

The important part of any therapeutic process is that you feel comfortable with your therapist. With this in mind, we offer a free initial assessment of 30 minutes which can be in person or online.
