Hypnotherapy: Our Approach

Hypnotherapy is an established practice which follows a specific pattern or protocol. You will be guided into a focussed state of concentration, which people find deeply relaxing. You will go deeper and deeper in to an enjoyable trance state but will commonly be aware of your surroundings. You are always in control throughout the session and will come out of trance easily if you need to. People do not do things in trance that are against their own will.

During your session you will be guided and asked to visualise something, perhaps a situation or experience. Some people can visualise very easily, others do not necessarily get a clear image, but simply get a feeling of something. Whichever way you experience this awareness is perfectly fine and appropriate. These visualisations help them to overcome a variety of conditions, most of which have anxiety or unhelpful habits or thoughts at their origin.
